Dr. Shepherd served his residency in Anesthesiology at Saint Louis University, where he also served as Chief Resident – Anesthesiology. He then completed a Fellowship in Pain Management at Medical College of Georgia in Augusta, Georgia. Dr. Shepherd is a member of the American Society of Anesthesiology, the Spine intervention Society, and the American Academy of Pain Medicine.

In his leisure time Dr. Shepherd enjoys spending time with his wife and three children. He enjoys all things outdoors including: skiing, fishing, hiking and traveling.
